TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138

The Psalmist Praises YAHWEH For Answering Prayer

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:1

  1     ^¶  A Psalm of David. I will praise YOU with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise to YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:2

  2    I will worship toward YOUR kodesh Great Tabernacle, and praise YOUR NAME for YOUR lovingkindness and for YOUR Truth: for YOU have magnified YOUR Word above all YOUR NAME.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:3

  3    In the day when I cried YOU answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:4

  4    All the kings of the earth shall praise YOU, O YAHWEH, when they hear the Words of YOUR mouth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:5

  5    Yes, they shall sing in the ways of YAHWEH: for great is the splendor of YAHWEH.

YAHWEH's Dealing With The Humble And The Proud

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:6

  6     ^¶  Though YAHWEH be high, yet has HE respect to the lowly: but the proud HE knows from afar.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:7

  7    Though I walk in the midst of trouble, YOU will revive me: YOU shall stretch forth YOUR hand against the wrath of my enemies, and YOUR right hand shall save me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 138:8

  8    YAHWEH will perfect that which concerns me: YOUR mercy, O YAHWEH, endures forever: forsake not the works of YOUR own hands.
