TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116

The Psalmist Declares His Love To YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:1

  1     ^¶  I love YAHWEH, because HE has heard my voice and my supplications.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:2

  2    Because HE has inclined HIS ear to me, therefore will I call upon HIM as long as I live.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:3

  3    The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:4

  4    Then called I upon the NAME of YAHWEH; O YAHWEH, I beseech YOU, deliver my soul.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:5

  5    Kind and benevolent is YAHWEH, and righteous; yes, our ALMIGHTY is merciful.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:6

  6    YAHWEH preserves the simple: I was brought low, and HE helped me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:7

  7    Return to your rest, O my soul; for YAHWEH has dealt bountifully with you.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:8

  8    For YOU have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:9

  9    I will walk before YAHWEH in the land of the living.

His Desire To Be Thankful

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:10

  10     ^¶  I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:11

  11    I said in my haste, All sons of adam are liars.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:12

  12    What shall I render to YAHWEH for all HIS benefits toward me?

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:13

  13    I will take the cup of yeshua, and call upon the NAME of YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:14

  14    I will shalom pay my vows to YAHWEH now in the presence of all HIS people.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:15

  15    Precious in the sight of YAHWEH is the death of HIS chaciyd saints.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:16

  16    O YAHWEH, truly I am YOUR servant; I am YOUR servant, and the son of YOUR handmaid: YOU have loosed my bonds.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:17

  17    I will offer to YOU the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the NAME of YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:18

  18    I will shalom pay my vows to YAHWEH now in the presence of all HIS people,

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 116:19

  19    In the courts of YAHWEH's house, in the midst of you, O Yerusalem. HalleluYAHWEH.
