TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75

The Psalmist Declares His Resolution Of Executing Judgment

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:1

  1     ¶  To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. To YOU, O YAHWEH, do we give thanks, to YOU do we give thanks: for that YOUR NAME is near YOUR wondrous works declare.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:2

  2    When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:3

  3    The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:4

  4    I said to the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:5

  5    Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

He Rebukes The Wicked, And Concludes With Resolutions To Praise YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:6

  6     ¶  For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:7

  7    But YAHWEH is the judge: HE puts down one, and sets up another.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:8

  8    For in the hand of YAHWEH there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and HE pours out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:9

  9    But I will declare forever; I will sing praises to YAHWEH the ALMIGHTY of Yacob.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 75:10

  10    All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
