YAHWEH's Appearance As Leader

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:1

  1     ^¶  To the chief Musician, A Psalm or Song of David. Let YAHWEH arise, let HIS enemies be scattered: let them also that hate HIM flee before HIM.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:2

  2    As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:3

  3    But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before YAHWEH: yes, let them exceedingly rejoice.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:4

  4    Sing to YAHWEH, sing praises to HIS NAME: extol HIM that rides upon the heavens by HIS NAME YAHH, and rejoice before HIM.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:5

  5    A ABBA of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is YAHWEH in HIS kodesh habitation.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:6

  6    YAHWEH sets the solitary in families: HE brings out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

YAHWEH's March As Deliverer

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:7

  7     ^¶  O YAHWEH, when YOU went forth before YOUR people, when YOU did march through the wilderness; Selah:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:8

  8    The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of YAHWEH: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of YAHWEH, the Sovereign Ruler of Yisrael.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:9

  9    YOU, O YAHWEH, did send a plentiful rain, whereby YOU did confirm YOUR inheritance, when it was weary.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:10

  10    YOUR congregation has dwelt therein: YOU, O YAHWEH, have prepared of YOUR goodness for the poor.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:11

  11    Sovereign YAHWEH gave the Word: great was the company of those that published it.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:12

  12    Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:13

  13    Though YOU have lien among the pots, yet shall YOU be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:14

  14    When El Shaddai scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:15

  15     ^¶  The hill of YAHWEH is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:16

  16    Why leap you, you high hills? this is the hill which YAHWEH desires to dwell in; yes, YAHWEH will dwell in it forever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:17

  17    The chariots of YAHWEH are twenty thousand, even thousands of malakim: Sovereign YAHWEH is among them, as in Sinai, in the kodesh place.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:18

  18    YOU have ascended on high, YOU have led captivity captive: YOU have received gifts for sons of adam; yes, for the rebellious also, that ALMIGHTY YAHWEH the Sovereign Ruler might dwell among them.

YAHWEH As Savior

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:19

  19    Blessed be Sovereign YAHWEH, who daily loads us with benefits, even the Almighty One of our yeshua. Selah.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:20

  20    HE that is our Almighty One is YAHWEH of yeshua; and to Sovereign  YAHWEH belong the issues from death.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:21

  21    But YAHWEH shall wound the head of HIS enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goes on still in his trespasses.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:22

  22     ^¶  Sovereign YAHWEH said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring MY people again from the depths of the sea:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:23

  23    That your foot may be dipped in the blood of your enemies, and the tongue of your dogs  have their share.

YAHWEH's Procession As King

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:24

  24    They have seen YOUR goings, O YAHWEH; even the goings of my Almighty One, my KING, in the kodesh place.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:25

  25    The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:26

  26    Bless YOU YAHWEH in the congregations, even Sovereign YAHWEH, from the fountain of Yisrael.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:27

  27    There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Yahudah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.

YAHWEH's Exaltation As King

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:28

  28    YAHWEH has commanded your strength: strengthen, O YAHWEH, that which YOU have wrought for us.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:29

  29    Because of YOUR Great Tabernacle at Yerusalem shall kings bring presents to YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:30

  30    Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter YOU the people that delight in war.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:31

  31    Princes shall come out of Egypt; Cush shall soon stretch out her hands to YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:32

  32     ^¶  Sing to YAHWEH, you kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises to Sovereign YAHWEH; Selah:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:33

  33    To HIM that rides upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, HE does send out HIS voice, and that a mighty voice.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:34

  34    Ascribe you strength to YAHWEH: HIS excellency is over Yisrael, and HIS strength is in the clouds.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:35

  35    O YAHWEH, YOU are terrible out of YOUR setapart places: the Mighty of Yisrael is HE that gives strength and power to HIS people. Blessed be YAHWEH.
