TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63

David's Desire Toward YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:1

  1     ^¶  A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Yahudah. O YAHWEH, YOU are my ALMIGHTY; early will I seek YOU: my soul thirsts for YOU, my flesh longs for YOU in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:2

  2    To see YOUR power and YOUR splendor, so as I have seen YOU in the kodesh place.

His Satisfaction In YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:3

  3     ^¶  Because YOUR lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall with a loud voice praise YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:4

  4    Thus will I bless YOU while I live: I will lift up my hands in YOUR NAME.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:5

  5    My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall HalleluYah YOU with joyful lips:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:6

  6    When I remember YOU upon my bed, and meditate on YOU in the night watches.

His Dependence Upon YAHWEH, And Assurance Of Safety

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:7

  7     ^¶  Because YOU have been my help, therefore in the shadow of YOUR wings will I rejoice.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:8

  8    My soul follows hard after YOU: YOUR right hand upholds me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:9

  9    But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:10

  10    They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 63:11

  11    But the king shall rejoice in YAHWEH; every one that swears by HIM shall HalleluYah: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
