The People Exhorted To Praise YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:1

  1     ^¶  To the chief Musician, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap your hands, all you people; shout to YAHWEH with the voice of triumph.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:2

  2    For YAHWEH most high is terrible; HE is a great KING over all the earth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:3

  3    HE shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:4

  4    HE shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Yacob whom HE loved. Selah.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:5

  5     ^¶  YAHWEH is gone up with a shout, YAHWEH with the sound of a shofar.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:6

  6    Sing praises to YAHWEH, sing praises: sing praises to our KING, sing praises.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:7

  7    For YAHWEH is the KING of all the earth: sing you praises with understanding.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:8

  8    YAHWEH reigns over the heathen: YAHWEH sits upon the throne of HIS kodeshness.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 47:9

  9    The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the ALMIGHTY of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong to YAHWEH: HE is greatly exalted.
