Confidence For Deliverance

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:1

  1     ^¶  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for YAHWEH; and HE inclined to me, and heard my cry.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:2

  2    HE brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a Rock, and established my goings.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:3

  3    And HE has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to YAHWEH our ABBA: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:4

  4    Blessed is the valiant warrior that makes YAHWEH his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:5

  5    Many, O YAHWEH my ALMIGHTY, are your wonderful works which YOU have done, and YOUR thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order to YOU: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:6

  6     ^¶  Sacrifice and grain offering YOU did not desire; my ears have YOU opened: burnt offering and sin offering have YOU not required.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:7

  7    Then said I, Lo, I come: In the volume of the book it is written of Me,

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:8

  8    I delight to do YOUR will, O YAHWEH my ALMIGHTY: yes, YOUR torah is within my heart.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:9

  9    I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O YAHWEH, YOU know.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:10

  10    I have not hid YOUR righteousness within my heart; I have declared YOUR faithfulness and YOUR yeshua: I have not concealed YOUR lovingkindness and YOUR Truth from the great congregation.

Prayer For Mercy And Love

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:11

  11     ^¶  Withhold not YOU YOUR tender mercies from me, O YAHWEH: let YOUR lovingkindness and YOUR Truth continually preserve me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:12

  12    For innumerable evils have compassed me about: my iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head: therefore my heart fails me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:13

  13    Be pleased, O YAHWEH, to deliver me: O YAHWEH, make haste to help me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:14

  14    Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:15

  15    Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say to me, Aha, aha.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:16

  16    Let all those that seek YOU rejoice and be glad in YOU: let such as love YOUR yeshua say continually, YAHWEH be magnified.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 40:17

  17    But I am poor and needy; yet Sovereign YAHWEH thinks upon me: YOU are my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O YAHWEH my ALMIGHTY.
