TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37

David Persuades To Patience And Confidence In YAHWEH, By The State Of The Rightious And Of The Wicked

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:1

  1     ^¶  A Psalm of David. Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:2

  2    For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:3

  3    Trust in YAHWEH, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and faithfully you shall be fed.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:4

  4    Delight yourself also in YAHWEH; and HE shall give you the desires of your heart.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:5

  5    Commit your way to YAHWEH; trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:6

  6    And HE shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:7

  7     ^¶  Rest in YAHWEH, and wait patiently for HIM: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:8

  8    Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any wise to do evil.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:9

  9    For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon YAHWEH, they shall inherit the earth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:10

  10    For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yes, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:11

  11    But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of shalom.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:12

  12    The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:13

  13    Sovereign YAHWEH shall laugh at him: for HE sees that his day is coming.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:14

  14    The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:15

  15    Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:16

  16    A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:17

  17    For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but YAHWEH upholds the righteous.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:18

  18    YAHWEH knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be forever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:19

  19    They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:20

  20    But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of YAHWEH shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:21

  21     ^¶  The wicked borrows, and shalom pay not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:22

  22    For such as be blessed of HIM shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of HIM shall be cut off.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:23

  23    The steps of a valiant warrior are ordered by YAHWEH: and he delights in HIS way.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:24

  24    Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for YAHWEH upholds him with HIS hand.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:25

  25    I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:26

  26    He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:27

  27    Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell forevermore.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:28

  28    For YAHWEH loves judgment, and forsakes not HIS chaciyd saints; they are preserved forever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:29

  29    The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:30

  30    The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:31

  31    The torah of YAHWEH is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:32

  32    The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:33

  33    YAHWEH will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:34

  34     ^¶  Wait on YAHWEH, and keep HIS way, and HE shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:35

  35    I have seen the wicked in great tyrannical power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:36

  36    Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yes, I sought him, but he could not be found.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:37

  37    Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is shalom.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:38

  38    But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:39

  39    But the yeshua of the righteous is of YAHWEH: HE is their strength in the time of trouble.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 37:40

  40    And YAHWEH shall help them, and deliver them: HE shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in HIM.
