TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34

David Praises YAHWEH, And Encourages To Trust Him

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:1

  1     ^¶  A Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless YAHWEH at all times: HIS praise shall continually be in my mouth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:2

  2    My soul shall make her boast in YAHWEH: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:3

  3    O magnify YAHWEH with me, and let us exalt HIS NAME together.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:4

  4    I sought YAHWEH, and HE answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:5

  5    They looked to HIM, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:6

  6    This poor man cried, and YAHWEH heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:7

  7    The malak of YAHWEH encamps round about them that fear HIM, and deliveres them.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:8

  8    O taste and see that YAHWEH is good: blessed is the valiant warrior that trusts in HIM.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:9

  9    O fear YAHWEH, you HIS kidushim: for there is no want to them that fear HIM.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:10

  10    The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek YAHWEH shall not want any good thing.

David Exhorts To Fear

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:11

  11     ^¶  Come, you children, hearken to me: I will teach you the fear of YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:12

  12    What man is he that desires Life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:13

  13    Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:14

  14    Depart from evil, and do good; seek shalom, and pursue it.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:15

  15    The eyes of YAHWEH are upon the righteous, and HIS ears are open to their cry.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:16

  16    The face of YAHWEH is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:17

  17    The righteous cry, and YAHWEH hears, and deliveres them out of all their troubles.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:18

  18    YAHWEH is nigh to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite ruach.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:19

  19    Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but YAHWEH deliveres him out of them all.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:20

  20    HE keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:21

  21    Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 34:22

  22    YAHWEH redeems the soul of HIS servants: and none of them that trust in HIM shall be desolate.
