Confidence In YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:1

  1     ^¶  To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In YOU, O YAHWEH, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in YOUR righteousness.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:2

  2    Bow down YOUR ear to me; deliver me speedily: be YOU my strong Rock, for an house of defense to save me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:3

  3    For YOU are my Rock and my fortress; therefore for YOUR NAME's sake lead me, and guide me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:4

  4    Pull me out of the net that they have laid privily for me: for YOU are my strength.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:5

  5    Into YOUR hand I commit my ruach: YOU have redeemed me, O YAHWEH ALMIGHTY of Truth.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:6

  6    I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:7

  7    I will be glad and rejoice in YOUR mercy: for YOU have considered my trouble; YOU have known my soul in adversities;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:8

  8    And has not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: YOU have set my feet in a large room.

Prayer In Trouble

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:9

  9     ^¶  Have mercy upon me, O YAHWEH, for I am in trouble: my eye is consumed with grief, yes, my soul and my belly.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:10

  10    For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones are consumed.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:11

  11    I was a reproach among all my enemies, but especially among my neighbors, and a fear to my acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:12

  12    I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:13

  13    For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:14

  14    But I trusted in YOU, O YAHWEH: I said, YOU are my Sovereign Ruler.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:15

  15    My times are in YOUR hand: deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from them that persecute me.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:16

  16    Make YOUR face to shine upon YOUR servant: save me for YOUR mercies' sake.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:17

  17    Let me not be ashamed, O YAHWEH; for I have called upon YOU: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:18

  18    Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Praise For YAHWEH's Goodness

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:19

  19     ^¶  Oh how great is YOUR goodness, which YOU have laid up for them that fear YOU; which YOU have wrought for them that trust in YOU before the sons of adam-man!

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:20

  20    YOU shall hide them in the secret of YOUR presence from the pride of man: YOU shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:21

  21    Blessed be YAHWEH: for HE has shown me HIS marvelous kindness in a strong city.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:22

  22    For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before YOUR eyes: nevertheless YOU heard the voice of my supplications when I cried to YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:23

  23    O love YAHWEH, all you HIS chaciyd saints: for YAHWEH preserves the faithful remnant, and rewards the proud ten fold.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 31:24

  24    Be of good courage, and HE shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in YAHWEH.
