TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16.

Confidence in YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:1

  1     ^¶  Michtam of David. Preserve me, O YAHWEH: for in YOU do I put my trust.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:2

  2    O my soul, you have said to YAHWEH, YOU are my Sovereign Ruler: I have no good besides YOU;

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:3

  3    But to the kidushim that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:4

  4    Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:5

  5    YAHWEH is the portion of my inheritance and of my cup: YOU maintain my lot.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:6

  6    The lines are fallen to me in pleasant places; yes, I have a beautiful heritage.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:7

  7    I will bless YAHWEH, who has given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:8

  8     ^¶  I have set YAHWEH always before me: because HE is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:9

  9    Therefore my heart is glad, and my ruach rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:10

  10    For YOU will not leave my soul in hell; neither will YOU suffer YOUR chaciyd one to see corruption.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 16:11

  11    YOU will show me the path of life: in YOUR presence is fullness of joy; at YOUR right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
