TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9.

David Praises YAHWEH For Protecting His People

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:1

  1     ^¶  To the chief Musician upon Muthlabben, A Psalm of David. I will praise YOU, O YAHWEH, with my whole heart; I will show forth all YOUR marvelous works.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:2

  2    I will be glad and rejoice in YOU: I will sing praise to YOUR NAME, O YOU most HIGH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:3

  3    When my enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at YOUR presence.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:4

  4    For YOU have maintained my right and my cause; YOU sit in the throne judging right.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:5

  5    YOU have rebuked the heathen, YOU have destroyed the wicked, YOU have put out their name forever and ever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:6

  6    O you enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and YOU have destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:7

  7    But YAHWEH shall endure forever: HE has prepared HIS throne for judgment.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:8

  8    And HE shall judge the world in righteousness, HE shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:9

  9    YAHWEH also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:10

  10    And they that know YOUR NAME will put their trust in YOU: for YOU, YAHWEH, have not forsaken them that seek YOU.

And For Cause To Praise YAHWEH

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:11

  11     ^¶  Sing praises to YAHWEH, which dwells in Zion: declare among the people HIS doings.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:12

  12    When HE makes inquisition for blood, HE remembers them: HE forgets not the cry of the humble.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:13

  13    Have mercy upon me, O YAHWEH; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, YOU that lift me up from the gates of death:

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:14

  14    That I may show forth all YOUR praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in YOUR yeshua.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:15

  15    The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:16

  16    YAHWEH is known by the judgment which HE executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:17

  17    The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget YAHWEH.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:18

  18    For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:19

  19    Arise, O YAHWEH; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in YOUR sight.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 9:20

  20    Put them in fear, O YAHWEH: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
