TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6.

The Psalmist Deprecates YAHWEH's Wrath, And Begs For The Return Of His Favor

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:1

1     ¶  To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David. O YAHWEH, rebuke me not in YOUR anger, neither chasten me in YOUR hot displeasure.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:2

2    Have mercy upon me, O YAHWEH; for I am weak: O YAHWEH, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:3

3    My soul is also sore vexed: but YOU, O YAHWEH, how long?

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:4

4    Return, O YAHWEH, deliver my soul: oh save me for YOUR mercies' sake.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:5

5    For in death there is no remembrance of YOU: in the grave who shall give YOU thanks?

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:6

6    I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 6:7

7    My eye is consumed because of grief; it waxs old because of all my enemies.
