TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5.

YAHWEH Will Certainly Hear Prayer

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:1

  1     ^¶  To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David. Give ear to my words, O YAHWEH, consider my meditation.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:2

  2    Hearken to the voice of my cry, my King, and my Sovereign Ruler: for to YOU will I pray.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:3

  3    My voice shall YOU hear in the morning, O YAHWEH; in the morning will I direct my prayer to YOU, and will look up.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:4

  4    For YOU are not a ALMIGHTY that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:5

  5    The foolish shall not stand in YOUR sight: YOU hate all workers of iniquity.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:6

  6    YOU shall destroy them that speak leasing: YAHWEH will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

He Prays For Himself, That YAHWEH Would Guide Him, And For All YAHWEH's People, That YAHWEH Would Give Them Joy, And Keep Them Safe

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:7

  7     ^¶  But as for me, I will come into YOUR house in the multitude of YOUR mercy: and in YOUR fear will I worship toward YOUR kodesh Great Tabernacle.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:8

  8    Lead me, O YAHWEH, in YOUR righteousness because of my enemies; make YOUR way straight before my face.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:9

  9    For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:10

  10    Destroy YOU them, O YAHWEH; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:11

  11    But let all those that put their trust in YOU rejoice: let them forever shout for joy, because YOU defend them: let them also that love YOUR NAME be joyful in YOU.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 5:12

  12    For YOU, YAHWEH, will bless the righteous; with favor will YOU compass him as with a shield.
