YAHWEH'S Law Written On The Heart

Those who take YAHWEH'S promise in belief and trust,
know that YAHWEH'S Law is written on their hearts

 The thought of YAHWEH'S Law written on the heart sometimes causes difficulty and discouragement because believers do not see or feel in themselves anything corresponding to it. An illustration may help to remove the difficulty. There are fluids by which you can write so that nothing is visible, either at once or later, unless the writing be exposed to the sun or the action of some chemical. The writing is there, but those who are ignorant of the process cannot know it is there, nor can they know how to make it readable. Yet the man who is in on the secret believes it even though he cannot see it.

It is this way with the new heart. YAHWEH has put YAHWEH'S Law on it, "Happy are the called out Ones in whose heart is YAHWEH'S Law." Tehillim (Psalms) 37:31. But it is there invisibly. Those who take YAHWEH'S promise in belief and trust, know that YAHWEH'S Law is written on their hearts. As long as there is not belief and trust on this point, all attempts to find or to fulfill this Law will be useless. But when accepted in belief and trust, and the promise is held on to, the first step has been taken to realize it. The believer is then prepared to receive instruction as to what the writing of the Law on the heart means. It means first that YAHWEH has implanted on the new heart the love of YAHWEH'S Law, and the readiness to do all of YAHWEH'S will. You may not feel this disposition there at first, but it is there! YAHWEH has put it there, believe this and be assured that there is in you the nature of YAHWEH, and you therefore must say, "I delight to do Your will, Oh YAHWEH." In the NAME of YAHWEH, and in belief and trust, Say It !

Second, its further meaning is that in planting this Law in you, YAHWEH has taken all that you already know to be YAHWEH'S will and inspires the new heart to obey it. .It may as yet be written there invisible to you, and you are not conscious of it. This does not matter. You now have to deal with YAHWEH'S hidden work by the SetApart Spirit in you. So do not be afraid to say: Oh, how I love Your Law. YAHWEH has put the love of it in your heart, the new heart. YAHWEH has taken the heart of stone away, it is by the new heart you must live!

Accept All Of YAHWEH'S Will (Even What You Do Not Yet Know Of It), As The Delight Of Your Heart

The next thing implied in this writing of the Law on the heart is that you have accepted all of YAHWEH'S will (even what you do not yet know of it), as the delight of your heart. In giving yourself up to YAHWEH, you gave yourself totally to YAHWEH'S will. This is one condition of your entering into the New Covenant. Now the Spirit of YAHWEH will provide for teaching you what you need to know, and give you power to do all that your ABBA wants you to do.

The whole life in the New Covenant is a life of belief and trust. Your belief and trust accepts every promise of the New Covenant, is certain that it is being fulfilled, looks confidently to the Mighty One of the Covenant to do this One's work. Your belief and trust stands on this truth, that in the new heart, with the Law written on it, you will believe, because YAHWEH is the One who promised, and YAHWEH will fulfill all that is promised!

It will be good to add here that this same truth holds true of all YAHWEH'S promises, they must be acted on by the believer in belief and trust. When we read of "the love of YAHWEH having been poured out into our hearts by the SetApart Spirit," or "the MESSIYAH dwelling in the heart," of "a clean heart," of "loving each other with a pure heart," of "YAHWEH establishing our hearts unblamable in separation from evil," we must, in belief trust, regard these spiritual truths as actually and indeed existing within us. In YAHWEH'S unseen way, the Spirit is working in us, not by sight or feelings, but by belief and trust in the Living Mighty One; and belief and trust in the living Word of that Mighty One, YAHWEH. We know that the written Law on our heart becomes the disposition and inclination of the new heart. In this belief and trust we are to act, knowing that we have the power to love, to obey, and to be separate from evil. The New Covenant gives us a Mighty One who works all in us. Belief and trust in YAHWEH, YAHSHUA, and the Separate Spirit gives us assurance, beyond all feelings, that YAHWEH is doing what YAHWEH has promised.

We Need Not Nor Will We "Fulfill The Desires Of The Flesh''

And if the question is asked, what are we to think of all there is within us that contradicts this belief and trust, let us remember what Scripture teaches us of it. We sometimes speak of an old and a new heart Scripture does not do so. It speaks of the old, the stony heart, being taken away--the heart, with its will, disposition, affections, being made new by the Spirit of YAHWEH. This new heart is placed in the midst of what Scripture calls the flesh, in which there dwells no good thing. We will find it a great advantage to adhere as closely as possible to Scripture language. It will greatly help our belief and trust to use the very Words that YAHWEH by the Separate Spirit has used to teach us. And it will clear our view in knowing what to think of the Law breaking that is in us, if we think of it and deal with it in the light of YAHWEH'S truth. Every evil desire and affection comes from the flesh, mans' fallen Law breaking nature. It owes its power mainly to our ignorance of its nature, and our trusting it to help give us strength to cast out its evil! I have already pointed out how Law breaking flesh and religious flesh are one and the same, and how all failure in our assembly is owing to a secret trust in ourselves. As we accept and make use of what YAHWEH says about the flesh, we will see in it the source of all evil in us. We will say of its temptations, "It is no longer I, but Law breaking (sin) that dwells in me." We will maintain our integrity as we maintain a good conscience that condemns us for doing nothing knowingly against YAHWEH'S will and we will be strong in our belief and trust in the SetApart Spirit, who dwells in the new heart, to empower us so that we need not nor will we "fulfill the desires of the flesh.''

I conclude with an extract of an address by F. Webster: Put on the Master YAHSHUA the MESSIYAH, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its desire. Make no place for the flesh. The flesh is there you know! To deny or ignore the existence of an enemy is to give them a great advantage against you and the flesh is in the believer to the very end, a force of evil to be reckoned with continually, an evil force inside every person, and yet thank YAHWEH, a force which can be dealt with by the power of YAHWEH, so that it will have no power to defile the heart or the will! The flesh is in you, but your heart can be kept clean moment by moment, in spite of the existence of evil in your fallen nature. Every avenue, every opening that leads to the heart, every thought, desire, purpose and imagination of your being can be closed against the flesh, so that there will be no opening to come into and defile the heart or deflect the will from the will of YAHWEH. You say that is a very high standard. But it is the Word of YAHWEH. There is to be no secret sympathy with Law breaking! Although the flesh is there you are to make no excuse for Law breaking! You are not to say, I am naturally irritable, anxious, jealous, and I cannot help letting these things crop up, they come from within you. Yes, they come from within, but there should be no place, no opening in your heart for these things to enter. Your heart can be barricaded with an impassable barrier against these things. No place for the fallen nature. Not only the front door locked, so that you will not invite them to come in, but the side and back door locked also! You may even become so YAHSHUA-possessed and YAHSHUA enclosed, that you will positively hate everything that is of the flesh. Make no place for the flesh. The only way to do this is to put on the Master YAHSHUA the MESSIYAH. I spoke of the heart being so barricaded that there could be no entrance to it, so that the flesh would never be able to defile it or deflect your will from the will of YAHWEH. How can this be done? By putting on the Master YAHSHUA the MESSIYAH. It has been such a blessing to me, just to learn this one secret! the positive side of deliverance! PUT ON THE MASTER YAHSHUA THE MESSIYAH !

Your belief and trust stands on this truth, that in the new heart, with YAHWEH'S Law written on it, you will believe, because YAHWEH is the One who promised, and YAHWEH will fulfill all that is promised!
