2 BARUCH 33
33:1 These are the commands which your friend YermeYah, the prophet, gave to you. And he said to you,
33:2 "Look to this people during the time I am absent, while I help the rest of our brothers in Babylon, against whom has been declared the sentence that they should be carried away into captivity."
33:3 And now, if you abandon us too, it would have been better for all of us that we shall die first, and that then you should abandon us.
