THE MINISTRY OF YAHSHUA: IN VIEW OF THE SANCTUARY SERVICE”

Written by Fredrico Stewart

This study of the Feast Days of Leviticus 23: is inspired by the Rhu Arc Ha-kodesh (Set-Apart Spirit) we will apply and lay them over the ministry of Yahshua from his immersion forward. Yahweh gives us the time and the sequence by which He will redeem us to Himself, you see he gave His only begotten Son that we through his blood might have life and have it more abundantly. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. We must first establish some facts about what Yahshua said about Himself. He who did no sin did not lie when he said in Matthew 12:40; “For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.” And so it begins with YAHSHUA's sacrifice on the stake. Daniel 9:26 & 27; “And after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the Sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations He shall make it desolate, even until the consummation (Fulfillment) and that determined shall be upon the desolate.” This establishes the time when Yahshua ( our Messiah) would be cut off, “...in the midst of the week...” This week has a two-fold application; Weekly, associating with the days of the week 1-7, and Prophetically, associating spiritual things. The first is seven days and the other is seven years (a year for a day ). With the application of the Feast Days we see that Messiah kept the Passover supper with his taught ones, and was arrested that night and impaled that day (On the Passover!). This day fell in the middle of the week, 3rd day (Tuesday) evening unto 4th day (Wednesday) evening. Before we go further, notice the feast day involved with these events (Passover supper and Impalement). Leviticus 23:5, “In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, is the Passover to Yahweh” Exodus 12: Very specific are the scriptures as telling anything. Only one date and time is given to keep the Passover (Yahweh’s Feast) per year. Matt.26:17-20. Looking to Daniel 9:27 we can see that the Messiah, “...shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, (the slaughterings and the meal offerings)...” (Colossians 2:14=>17) We see then that the ministry of Yahshua lasted for three and an half years, which is exactly half of seven years, which makes His impalement come exactly in the midst of a week literally and also prophetically. This time line in Daniel is prophetic not literal Ezek.4:6, Num.14:34. Measuring forward from the decree to rebuild Jerusalem (Ezra 1:1-4) to the coming of Messiah would be seven weeks and three score and two weeks (Daniel 9:25) 69 weeks. The first prophetic check point. Daniel 9:26; And after three score and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off,...” Look! after 62 weeks shall Messiah be cut off; the first seven weeks dealt with the rebuilding of Jerusalem, completely! (Ezra 7:6-25). The end of the seven weeks plus the sixty and two weeks marks the coming of the Messiah at 69 weeks. The second prophetic check point. At the coming of Yahshua onto the scene John the imerser was in the midst of his ministry Matt.3:3, “For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahweh, make his paths straight.” Then the Scriptures says in John 1:29; “The next day John seeth Yahshua coming unto him, and saith, behold the Lamb of Yahweh, which takes away the sin of the world.” The beginning of the 70th week. Dan.9:24; “Seventy (70) weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy set-apart city,...” The end of the seven weeks and the sixty two weeks, now begins the week to confirm the covenant with Yahweh’s children by Yahshua the Messiah. Daniel 9:27; “And He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week He shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease.” This is the covenant with Israel was made through Abram that should go to all the world. The third prophetic check point. Yahshua’ ministry as “The Messiah to Israel”; three and a half years into His ministry Yahshua was impaled on Passover (cut off from his ministry as Messiah Dan9:24-27, Matthew 26:17-29). Here in Leviticus 23:1-11 are the instructions for the feasts days; and we will apply Passover, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost. Let us read very carefully what Yahweh said in the beginning of Leviticus 23:, verses 1-3, “And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying. Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, Concerning the Feasts of Yahweh, which ye shall proclaim to be set-apart assemblies, even these are My Feasts. Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of rest, an set-apart assembly; ye shall do no work therein: it is the Sabbath of Yahweh in all your dwellings.” A key to understanding is to realize that Yahweh wanted these feast days kept the same way the Sabbath is kept; set-apart! All things apply to the feast days as do to the Sabbath day. Read Leviticus 23: 1-3 Again! 1)Passover; Levitcus 23: 4&5; “In the fourteenth day of the first month, at even is Yahweh’ Passover.” Exodus 12:1-6 man had to kill a lamb, and eat it with Unleavened Bread; On Passover Yahweh sent Yahshua, the sacrifice for sin, the Lamb of Yahweh; In Creation week we see that the day began with the evening , Gen1:5. Now the Passover (John 19:14) which is the 14th day of the first month, and the Passover began that evening at which time Yahshua instituted a spiritual supper! Rev 3:18-20, Matt 26:20. That night Messiah was betrayed by Judas; Mark 14:43-46. Beaten and tried back and forth all night, Messiah was humiliated and scorned and finally the morning of the feast of Passover, at the time of the morning oblation (sacrifice) Messiah, the Lamb of Yahweh, John 1:29, was impaled; Mark 15:25. At the ninth hour the time of the evening oblation (sacrifice) Yahshua died; Matt 27:46-50. Wednesday evening, Thursday, Thursday evening, Friday, Friday evening, and Sabbath day, Messiah rose Sabbath at sunset as our High Priest. Thus we have three full nights and three full days, and we must realize that each pairing of an evening and a day constitutes an 24 hour period exactly. “The evening and the morning were the day” Gen.1:5; the evening before the morning. (See Jewish calendar for exact dates and times for the Feast Days). John 19:14, The Passover is the preparation day for the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Luke 23:50-54, The Sabbath spoken of here is an set-apart day, an High day, it is the Feast of Unleavened Bread. 2)Feast of Unleavened Bread; Lev. 23: 6-8 “And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Yahweh: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.” ICorinthians 5:6=>8, This feast day is indicative of an set-apart walk with Messiah. “Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Yahshua our Passover is sacrificed for us;” In his ministry Yahshua was first the Messiah to Israel as he walked among men; then as the Lamb of Yahweh He became our sacrifice for the sin of the world; “...without shedding of blood is no remission.” Hebrews 9:22; Now He is our High Priest to minister before Yahweh for man having offered His own blood. All things were done according to scripture, to fulfill the Law. Matt.5:17, Yahshua said, “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.” Now as we walk and talk and have our being in Yahshua, we can do none of these things except the set-apart Spirit of Yahweh be in us. John 15:5; Hebrews 4:16. After his resurrection Yahshua began his ministry as our High Priest (Hebrews 2:17) and His first duty as our High Priest was to offer the First Fruits (Leviticus 23:9-11) of the Harvest of the earth. (Matthew 13:1- ) Now Yahweh’ instructions on the offering of the First Fruits. 3)Feast of Firstfruits; Lev. 23:9-11; “...and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the Priest: and He shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath (this is the weekly Sabbath) the Priest shall wave it.” Now in order for the Priest to wave the firstfruits offering before Yahweh on the morrow after the Sabbath, then the sheaves would have to have been harvested no later than before the sunset the day before the the first High-day Sabbath, which was Passover. This brings into focus the resurrection of some the saints at the impalement and death of Yahshua on the stake, Matt.27:52, “And the graves were opened; and many (not all) bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the set-apart city, and appeared unto many.” The Scriptures clearly tell of a resurrection at the death of Yahshua. This is the harvest of the Firstfruits of the earth. Now, we have been told by Yahshua about the great “harvest” of the earth, (Matt.13:37-43; Rev.14:14-16), and here in I Thessalonians 4:13-18. And we also know that we have Yahshua as our “High Priest”, (Heb.8:1-2). Now notice the instructions for the High Priest concerning the “Firstfruits”; Lev.23:11; “And He shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the Priest shall wave it.” To be tied in with the resurrection of some of the saints at the death of Yahshua on the stake, and their coming out of the graves after Yahshua’ resurrection; which was in the end of the weekly Sabbath. Matt.27:50-53. These important facts are not to be over looked as we consider the ministry of Yahshua our Messiah, become the Lamb of Yahweh, become our High Priest. Some important facts to note here are that those risen from the dead are of the children of Israel, (Rev.7:4-8; 14:1-5) also that they came not out of their graves until after Yahshua’ resurrection, which was after the weekly Sabbath! Three days and nights of dead folks standing in their graves. These things were done in accordance with the instructions given to the High Priest in Lev.23:11 by Yahweh. Philip. 2:5->8 (Obedience is the key!) Matt.5:17&18 Yahshua came to fulfill! 4)Feast of Pentecost;. Lev.23:15; “And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be complete: Lev.23:16. Even unto the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Yahweh.” 7 x 7 = 49 + 1 = 50 Amien! Acts 1:2&3 “Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Set Apart Spirit had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: vs.3 To whom also he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of Yahweh:...vs.8 But ye shall receive power, after that the set-apart Spirit is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Lev 23:15 says, “...even the morrow after the seventh Sabbath shall ye number fifty days”. So the weekly Sabbath (after Passover, ) at sunset was when Yahshua was raised from the dead and the count-down began unto fifty days. Now Acts 1:3 says ,”...after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days,..” So we have 40 days and there remains 10 days before the day of Pentecost. And Yahshua said in Acts 1:5; “For John truly immersed with water; but ye shall be immersed with the Set Apart Spirit not many days hence.” Yahshua said not many days hence, “the day of Pentecost was fully come.” Acts 2:1. Isn’t it beautiful how the word of Yah agrees! Listen to what John the imerser said about Yahshua; Matt. 3:11 “I indeed immerse you with water unto repentance; but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear; he shall immerse you with the set apart Spirit, and with fire.” This fire is that Set Apart fire from heaven which bakened the two tenth deals: of fine flour prepared from the sheafs of the Firstfruits; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto Yahweh.” These were redeemed with the promise; Revelation 7:1-8. We who are of the kingdom of Heaven are redeemed by the blood of Yahshua! ICor 5:7,8 ; Lev.23:17 (the assembly). The day of Pentecost; fulfilling the Law! A Feast day set up by Yahweh Himself! To be observed forever or until its’ fulfillment. Matt. 5:17 Yahshua! Romans 8:4 Children of Yahweh! This new meat offering is the two wave loaves “...they are the firstfruits unto Yahshua.” Lev.23 :17. ref. Lev.23:10. Notice now that the sheaf offering of the Feast of Firstfruits is not separate anymore, it is now made into loaves and mixed with leaven, this leaven represents the presence of sin in our lives, ICor.5:7&8. These loaves represent the body of believers today! ICor.12:12-14. The Set Apart Spirit is the FIRE! come down and bakened these individuals into one body of believers “having all things common”, “one accord”. Each time someone joins him or herself to the body of Yahshua the Set Apart Spirit must come into that person and bake them into the body of Yahshua, the body of believers. Confession, repentance, immersion (water), immersion (Set Apart Spirit and fire). Beautiful! HalleluYah! We are here studying the “Plan of Yeshua”! Acts 2:1 “...they were all with one accord in one place.” They were all with one purpose and one mind. This is the body of the New Testament which Yahshua gave His blood His life for; ICor.10:16,17 “...For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.” Now we begin to look into the remaining feasts, the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles, realizing these feasts have yet to have been fulfilled. There are scriptural references telling us what Yahweh has planned for his children concerning these remaining feast days. In the book of Amos 3:7 it says, “Surely our Heavenly Father will do nothing, but he reveals his secrets unto his servants the prophets.” We are his children and the sheep of his pasture, Yahweh shall reveal that we may be ready at all times. Matthew 24:44; “Be ye also ready for in such a time as ye think not the Son of man cometh...” Let us continue on... 5)The Feast of Trumpets; Lev.23:23-25; “And the Yahweh spoke unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month in the first day of the month, shall ye have a Sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an set-apart convocation. Ye shall do no servile work therein; but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Yahweh.” This feast refers to the gathering of Yahweh’s children at YAHSHUA's second coming. Isaiah 43:5=>7; Matthew 24:31. The trumpets sound to inform or warn the people of the time as well as the appointed day. Joel 2:1,15&16,28=>31. The day of Jubilee Lev.25:9 =>15 “Then shall thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.” when all things revert back to the original ownership. This day commemorates the taking back of the earth from Satan, back to the original owner which is man; Romans 5:12=>14 The first Adam who lost it to Satan through disobedience and the last Adam, Yahshua our Messiah who took it back by living an obedient, sinless life and died the death of a sinner. A living sacrifice, behold the Lamb of Yahweh. A single trumpet will announce the day of YAHSHUA's coming! “When the trumpet of the Yahweh shall sound, and the dead in Yahshua shall rise first...” IThessalonians 4:13=>18; “for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised...” ICorinthians 15:51=>58; “And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:27=>31. NOTE: We are in the period now between the feast of Pentecost and the feast of Trumpets. This period is occupied by the Pentecostal work of the set-apart Spirit in the assemblies! Joel 2:28=>32 The feast of Trumpets is immediately followed by the the feast of the day of Atonement. 6)The Feast of The Day of Atonement; Lev.23:26,27; “And Yahweh spoke unto Moses, saying, Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of Atonement: it shall be an set-apart convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Yahweh.” This feast is also celebrated in the seventh month; Yes! the same month as the feast of Trumpets. In the Sanctuary service on the day of Atonement prepatory to meeting with Yahweh, the people had to set themselves apart, and purify themselves. This feast is the second advent of Yahshua and the permanant establishment of his kingdom, and Yahshua will have completed His task of bringing us to at-one-ment with Yahua our Heavenly Father. His people must be ready. A people prepared to meet their Saviour. Matthew 24:42=>51; 25:1=>13. “And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for Yahshua.” Luke 1:17. Daniel 8:13 & 14 “Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation to give both the set-apart place and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the set-apart place be cleansed.” {Matthew 24:36&37} 7)The Feast of Tabernacles; Leviticus 23:34=>43 “...The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Yahweh. Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths. That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Yahweh your Father.” Being brought from under the bondage of sin and out of the land of sin, we meet Yahshua in the air to be with Him a thousand years; We shall dwell here on the earth, in tents (booths) Revelation 20:4 -9 enjoying a thousand years of peace. Finally when this event comes to an end it will culminate with the last war and it fought by Yahweh. The devil will receive his reward along with the beast and the false prophet; then comes the judgement (passing of sentence). Revelation 21: 1-> 5; “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the set-apart city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice from heaven saying, Behold! The Tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Yahweh himself shall be with them and be their Father.”

HalleluYah!
