Need No Man To Teach You

The great theme of this letter is the "fellowship of the family of YAHWEH as ABBA

We deduct that it is written because of the many forms of errors that are taught in the form of Gnosticism. They were denying the the essential Truth of the resurrection of YAHSHUA

Gnosticism: the thought and practice especially of various cults of late pre-Christian and early Christian centuries distinguished by the conviction that matter is evil and that emancipation comes through gnosis name indicating the assumption of superior capacity of knowledge (Greek. gnosis, "knowledge")

The Sholiach Directs To The Atonement Of YAHSHUA For Help Against Sinful Infirmities

1 YOCHANAN  2:1 My little {taf} children of Yisrael, these things write I to you, that you do not sin. And if any man sin, we have an advocate {dah-yawn' Intercessor, counsel for defense} with the ABBA, YAHSHUA ha MessiYah Ha-Tzadik.

TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:4 Sing {sheer} to YAHWEH, sing praises to HIS Name {shame}: extol {saw-lal' lift up} HIM that rides upon the heavens by HIS Name YAHWEH, and rejoice  {aw-laz' triumph} before HIM,
TEHILLIM - PSALMS 68:5 An ABBA of the fatherless {yaw-thome' orphan}, and a judge {dah-yawn' advocate}  of the widows  {al-maw-naw'}, is YAHWEH in HIS kodesh habitation {maw-ohn' refuge}.

1 YOCHANAN  2:2 And HE Himself is the propitiation {kaw-far' cover, purge, atone for sin, reconciliation, atone for sin and persons by legal rites} for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

This is not teaching globalism, or yeshua for every human, but rather displays the scope of His atonement as embracing all peoples and all Yisraelites in all nations

DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 21:8 Be merciful {kaw-far'}, O YAHWEH, to YOUR people Yisrael, whom YOU have redeemed {paw-daw' rescue, deliver}, and lay not innocent {naw-kee'} blood to your people of Yisrael's charge. And the blood {dawm} shall be forgiven {kaw-far'} them.

MISHLE - PROVERBS 16:6  By mercy {kheh'-sed' kindness, faithfulness}  and Truth iniquity {aw-vone'} is purged {kaw-far'}: and by the fear of YAHWEH men depart from evil.

*This is not teaching globalism, or yeshua for every human, but rather displays the scope of His   atonement as embracing all peoples and all Yisraelites in all nations.

The Effects Of Saving Knowledge In Producing Obedience, And Love To The Brotherhood

1 YOCHANAN  2:3 And hereby we do know {yaw-dah' acquainted with} that we know HIM, if we keep {shaw-mar' guard, observe, give heed} HIS mitzvoth-commandments.
* Keeping Torah is a true yet simple test of anyone claiming discipleship status and, or Yisraelite citizenship.

YASHER 22:40 And Isaac the son of Avraham was growing up in those days, and Avraham his ahvot taught him the way of YAHWEH to know YAHWEH, and YAHWEH was with him.

The only way you will know YAHWEH

YERMEYAH - JEREMIAH 31:33 But this shall be the covenant {ber-eeth' pledge, treaty} that I will make with the house  {bah'-yith} of Yisrael; After those days, says YAHWEH, I will put {naw-than' to give} MY Torah in their inward {keh'-reb' seat, faculty of thought and emotion}  parts, and write {kaw-thab' record, inscribe, engrave} it in their levim; and will be their ABBA, and they shall be MY people
YERMEYAH - JEREMIAH 31:34 And they shall teach {law-mad' cause to learn} no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know {yaw-dah'} YAHWEH: for they shall all know ME, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says YAHWEH: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

1 YOCHANAN  2:4 He that says, I  know {yaw-dah' acquainted with} HIM, and keeps not HIS mitzvoth-commandments, is a liar {ak-zawb' deceitful, treacherous, falsehood}, and the Truth is not in him.

1 YOCHANAN  2:5 But whoso keeps HIS Word, truly the ahava of YAHWEH is perfected {shaw-lame' whole, full, complete} in him: By this we know that we are in HIM.
* Torah perfects Yisrael’s love for The ABBA and Yahshua, and gives us assurance of yeshua

DEBARIM - DEUTERONOMY 5:10 10 And showing mercy to thousands of them that love ME and keep MY commandments.

YEHEZQEL - EZEKIEL 11:20 That they may walk in MY statutes, and keep MY ordinances, and do {aw-saw' accomplish} them: and they shall be MY people, and I will be their ABBA.

1 YOCHANAN  2:6 He that says he abides {yaw-shab'} in HIM ought himself also so to walk {haw-lak' manner of life}, even as HE walked.

1 YOCHANAN  2:7 Brothers, I write no new mitzvah to you, but an old mitzvah which you had from the beginning. The old mitzvah is the Word which you have heard from the  from Beresheeth.

1 YOCHANAN  2:8 Again, a new mitzvah I write to you, which thing is emet-true in HIM and in you: because the darkness is past, and the True Light is already shining.

What is the true Light?

MISHLE - PROVERBS 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp {neer}; and the Torah is Light {ore}; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life.

YESHAYAH - ISAIAH 8:20 To the Torah and to the Testimony {teh-oo-daw' confirmation}: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no Light in them.

1 YOCHANAN  2:9 He that says he is in the Light, and hates {saw-nay'} his brother, is in darkness {kho-shek'} even until now.

1 YOCHANAN  2:10 He that loves his brother abides in the Light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.

1 YOCHANAN  2:11 But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded {kaw-saw' to cover, conceal, hide} his eyes.
Believers Addressed As Little Children, Young Men, And Fathers

1 YOCHANAN  2:12 I write to you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for HIS Name's sake.

1 YOCHANAN  2:13 I write to you, ahvot, because you have known HIM that is from Beresheeth. I write to you, young men, because you have overcome {law-kham' engage in battle, wage war} the wicked one. I write to you, little children, because you have known {yadah} the ABBA.

1 YOCHANAN  2:14 I have written to you, ahvot, because you have known HIM that is from Beresheeth. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the Word of YAHWEH abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one.

All Are Cautioned Against The Love Of This World, And Against Errors

1 YOCHANAN  2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the ABBA is not in him.

1 YOCHANAN  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the boasting pride of life, is not of the ABBA, but is of the world.

1 YOCHANAN  2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of YAHWEH abides forever le-olam-va-ed.

1 YOCHANAN  2:18 Little children, it is the last hour: and as you have heard that anti-MessiYAH shall come, even now are there many anti-MessiYAH; whereby we know that it is the last time.

They who deny Yahshua, the Renewed Covenant

1 YOCHANAN  2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
* Those who deny Yahshua, the Renewed Covenant

1 YOCHANAN  2:20 But you have an anointing {meesh-khaw' consecrated word} from the Kadosh-One, and you know {yaw-dah' observe, aware} all things.

1 YOCHANAN  2:21 I have not written to you because you know not the Truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the Truth.
*Yisraelite believers can guard themselves from apostasy in the here and now. Once a Yisraelite becomes a heretic by denying either the Father, or His Son, Ivrim/Hebrews 6:4 states that it is no longer possible to return them to truth. See also Hebrews 10:29 and Second Peter 2:20-22.

1 YOCHANAN  2:22 Who is a liar but he that denies that YAHSHUA is the MessiYah? He is anti-MessiYAH, that denies YAHWEH the ABBA and the Son.

1 YOCHANAN  2:23 Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not YAHWEH the ABBA: but he that acknowledges the Son has the ABBA also.
They Are Encouraged To Stand Fast In Faith And Righteousness

They Are Encouraged To Stand Fast In Faith And Righteousness

1 YOCHANAN  2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard {shaw-mah' listen to, obey, perceive by ear} from Beresheeth. If what you heard from Beresheeth shall remain in you, you shall also continue in the Son, and in the ABBA.
* In other words, if you really understand Torah from Genesis forward, you will always stay in the Son. Denying the Son displays one’s ignorance of Torah and Torah justification.

1 YOCHANAN  2:25 And this is the promise that HE has promised us, even eternal life.

1 YOCHANAN  2:26 These things have I written to you concerning them that seduce {taw-aw' to wander, stray, wander astray, err} you.

1 YOCHANAN  2:27 But the anointing which you have received of HIM abides in you, and you need not that any man teach you differently: but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all emet things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, so shall you abide in HIM.
* We all need solid biblical teaching

1 YOCHANAN  2:28 And now, little children, abide in HIM; that, when HE shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before HIM at HIS coming.

1 YOCHANAN  2:29 If you know that HE is tzadik, you know that every one that does tzedakah is born of him.
