YAHWEH Knows The Way Yisrael Takes (Part 2)
IYOB - JOB 22:27
27 You shall make your prayer to him, and he shall hear you, and you shall
shalom pay your vows.
28 You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established to you: and the
light shall shine upon your ways.
29 When men are cast down, then you shall say, There is lifting up; and he shall
save the humble person.
30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the
pureness of your hands.
Iyov Complains That YAHWEH Has Withdrawn
IYOB - JOB 23:1
1 ¶ Then Iyob answered and said,
2 Even today is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.
3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!
4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.
5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would
say to me.
6 Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength
in me.
7 There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered
continually from my judge.
He Asserts His Own Integrity
IYOB - JOB 23:8
8 ¶ Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot
perceive him:
9 On the left hand, where he does work, but I cannot behold him: he hides
himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:
10 But he knows the way that I take: when he has tried me, I shall come forth as
gold.
11 My foot has held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.
12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed
the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
SIRACH 51:10 I appealed to YAHWEH, the ABBA of my baal, not to forsake
me in the days of affliction, at the time when there is no help against
the proud.
SIRACH 51:11 I will praise YOUR Name continually, and will sing praise with
todah
SIRACH 51:12 My prayer was heard, for YOU did save me from destruction
and rescue me from an evil plight. Therefore I will give todah to YOU and praise
YOU, and I will bless the Name of YAHWEH.
SIRACH 51:13 While I was still young, before I went on my travels, I sought
wisdom openly in my prayer.
SIRACH 51:14 Before the Tabernacle I asked for her (wisdom), and I will
search for her to the last.
SIRACH 51:15 From blossom to ripening grape my heart delighted in her
(wisdom); my foot entered upon the straight path; from my youth I
followed her steps
YASHER 26:21 And Avraham gave all that he had to his son Yitschaq, and he
also gave him all his treasures.
YASHER 26:22 And he commanded him saying, Did you not know and understand YHWH
is ALMIGHTY in heaven and in earth, and there is no other beside HIM?
YASHER 26:23 And it was he who took me from my father's house, and from my birth
place, and gave me all the delights {khaw-fates' take
pleasure in} upon earth; who delivered
me from the counsel of the wicked, for in HIM did I trust.
YASHER 26:24 And HE brought me to this place, and HE delivered me from Ur Casdim;
and HE said to me, To your seed will I give all these lands, and they shall
inherit them when they keep MY commandments, MY statutes and MY
judgments that I have commanded you, and which I shall command them.
YASHER 26:25 Now therefore my son, hearken to MY voice, and keep the
commandments of YHWH your ALMIGHTY, which I commanded you, do not turn
from the right way either to the right or to the left, in order that it may
be well with you and your children after you forever.
YASHER 26:26 And remember the wonderful works of YHWH, and HIS kindness that HE
has shown toward us, in having delivered us from the hands of our enemies, and
YHWH our ALMIGHTY caused them to fall into our hands; and now therefore keep all
that I have commanded you, and turn not away from the commandments of
YHWH your ALMIGHTY, and serve none beside him, in order that it may be well with
you and your seed after you.
YASHER 26:27 And teach you your children and your seed the instructions of YHWH
and HIS commandments, and teach them the upright way in which they should go, in
order that it may be well with them forever.
YASHER 26:28 And Yitschaq answered his father and said to him, That which my
ABBA has commanded that will I do, and I will not depart from the commands of
YHWH my ALMIGHTY, I will keep all that HE commanded me; and Avraham blessed
his son Yitschaq, and also his children; and Avraham taught Yacob the
instruction of YHWH and HIS ways.
YASHER 26:29 And it was at that time that Avraham died, in the fifteenth year of
the life of Yacob and Esau
